The nicest way to spend a Sunday morning, the New Earth Gathering is a community market meant to help us all transition to a healthier, holistic, more sustainable lifestyle. The market is held at various locations, it’s taken place at Shala 142 in Assagaon, Gratitude Cafe in Anjuna, Sadhana Del Arte in Merces, Saraya in Sangolda and at the Beach Box Cafe in Baga so far. It was started with the intention of bringing together healthier options and sustainable alternatives under one roof. You’ll find farm fresh vegetables – grown without harsh chemicals or pesticides, organic groceries, seeds and saplings to help set up your own kitchen garden, seed bombs, non-toxic bath & body care, original art, handmade and up-cycled jewellery, clothes made with recycled fabric, non-toxic cleaning products, gluten free bread, vegan food and desserts, and lots and lots more. There’s also music and an overall fun vibe and people usually come in early and spend the morning with us, hanging out, chilling and engaging in some guilt-free retail therapy that not only helps with becoming healthier, but helps the environment and Mother Nature too.
